After arrive in Indonesia, the international students must apply for IMEI, unless the international students cannot use the phone.
IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity or with simple words the unique number of your mobile device. Every officially produced phone has it.
The Indonesian government has decided to impose such measures on phones coming from abroad to Indonesia since October 2020 to battle against the illegal phone trade in Indonesia. The Government created this online system where all phones must be registered to be discoverable by local mobile operators. This automatically means that all phones coming from outside of the country must be registered with the Indonesian Customs. If you wish your device to operate in Indonesia it is advisable for you to register it unless you plan to buy a new phone from Indonesia. In that case you are safe to go.
If the international students need the pickup service, kindly please contact the International Office 7 days before departure.
After arriving in Indonesia, the international students should register to International Office and do the dormitory payment (if decide to stay in our dormitory)

Due to stay permit in Indonesia, the international students should convert the Limited Stay Visa to Limited Stay Permit.
Student’s Visa only valid for 30 days after arrival and it should be changed to Limited Stay Permit before 30 days after coming in to Indonesia.
The price to apply the Limited Stay Permit is IDR2.500.000 for one year.
The international students can apply for SIM Card in the airport directly or you can request the international office to assist you to go to SIM Card Office to apply the Phone SIM Card.
The price of the SIM Card is around IDR 150.000 for the first one month.
The International Office of Trisakti Institute of Tourism will assist you to make a Bank Card.
The requirement to make Bank Card, as follows:
- Copy of Passport
- IDR 500,000 to deposit
- Application Form
The International Office will introduce you about the university, school and government regulation, Indonesian & university culture, etc for the first week.
After that the students start the class.
